GALLERY: High Country Lodge Christmas Light Tour in the books in Black Diamond

High Country Lodge residents toured the town with Mayor Brendan Kelly on Dec. 13, searching for the best Christmas light displays Black Diamond has to offer.

Residents of Black Diamond's High Country Lodge hit the town for a long-standing Christmas tradition on Dec. 13.

The Lodge's Christmas Light Tour takes place every year.

During the tour, lodge residents were joined by Black Diamond's mayor, who all boarded a bus to hunt for the best Christmas light displays in town — both residential and commercial. This year saw six residents take part after the tour was rescheduled.

Mayor Brendan Kelly photographed light displays during the tour and then, back at the lodge sipping hot chocolate, residents voted on their favourites.

Winners will be announced at the start of Black Diamond's final council meeting on Dec. 21, with prizes to be determined.
