Country meets alpine

It’s not often you get to see horse-drawn skiers or snowboarders shredding gnar.

Skijordue brings the wonderful world of horsemanship and high-flying alpine sports along with après ski culture to the Millarville Racetrack for its fourth annual event.

There are four events featuring 150 competitors along with fondue, bratwurst, craft beer, a maker’s market and prizes for fashion and an after party at the racetrack.

The gates open at 10 a.m. on Feb. 22. Tickets are $15 at skijorcanada.com or $20 at the gate.
