Enjoy soulful jazz music from Okotoks’ own Ellen Doty in downtown Okotoks this weekend. Doty will sing songs from her sophomore album Come Fall, as well as some of the newer songs she’s been working on in recent months. Tickets cost $25.

Journey to Narnia
Join Peter, Edmund, Susan and Lucy on their quest to Narnia in the Okotoks Junior High School drama production of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for students and can be purchased at the school office or at the door.

Cracking Up

Junior Hockey
Friday is a busy one for junior hockey fans in the Foothills.
The Okotoks Jr. A Oilers kick-off their home-and-home with the Canmore Eagles on Feb. 7 at Pason Centennial Arena with puck-drop at 7 p.m. The first-place Oilers are putting their 13-game winning streak on the line while Eagles have won three in a row.
Also on Feb. 7, the Okotoks Bisons and High River Flyers meet for the final Battle of the Foothills this season, an 8 p.m. start at the Murray Arena. Okotoks closes out the regular season on Feb. 9 in a 1:15 p.m. match-up against Lomond before enjoying its bye through the first-round of the HJHL playoffs.
