Our Christmas was awesome; I rented our Valley Neighbours’ Club rooms and 24 of our family gathered for dinner and fun. We missed the Blacks as they had taken their kids and grandkids to the Kona coast for Christmas. Holly, Loraine and Chase stayed over the weekend and that was a gift in itself.
My neighbours have a huge Santa on their patio; it makes me smile each time I drive by. I’ll be sorry when the Christmas season is over.
VNC will be back to normal activities right after New Year’s. The only activity that did not take a hiatus was bridge. Bridge players are a hardy lot.
I attended my grand nephew’s wedding on New Year’s Eve. My W.I. has catered a New Year’s Eve party at Priddis for several years, so it will be a reversal from catering to being catered to.
The weatherman really did his best to please over Christmas, at least, in our part of the world.
We send our deepest sympathy to the Fisher family on the loss of a husband, father and grandfather.
