Our line dancers performed for the residents of the Rising Sun and the day support folks on April 13. We will be going to Evergreen on April 21, meet at VNC at 9 a.m. Our wind-up will be on May 5 and we will dance from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Bea and Vance have invited us to their home for lunch following dancing.
Plan to take in the Sheep River Library tour on April 23 from noon to 4 p.m. The official ceremony will be at 2 p.m. Our library offers a myriad of courses from personal development to kids’ programs. Drop by and check out all the things they have to offer. It is a lot more than books.
Our Friday afternoon bingo will be cancelled on the Good Friday holiday, and floor curling on April 25 will be on a pickup basis.
VNC’s general meeting will be held, as usual, on the first Thursday of the month at 1 p.m.
I don’t know what is happening with our garden club. Things are a bit up in the air at the moment. Call Susan (403-933-7675) for clarification.
