We didn’t build our bluebird boxes on Sunday, but the project has been rescheduled for April 19 at 7 p.m. at Fritz Peyerl’s. Susan hasn’t researched the procedure, but both a hammer and screwdriver would be a good thing to bring as wood materials will be supplied.
Our resident pair of bald eagles has definitely set up housekeeping in their old nest off of Decalta Road, and I saw a meadowlark between High River and Okotoks. Spring is here.
I took in the quilt show and tea at Priddis on Saturday. I was totally in awe of the beautiful handiwork.
The Easter dinner at our club on Sunday evening was very well attended and beautifully presented. Many thanks, once again, to our social committee for a job well done. The 50/50 was won by Ernie Smith (who just happens to be my brother-in-law). Many of the silent auction items were not picked up, so if you had a bid on something, come by and see if you were a lucky bidder.
