The High Country SPCA is a non-profit, registered organization, fully operated by Volunteers. Our mission is to help abused and abandoned animals in the Foothills region and to provide emergency medical treatment and foster care until a forever home is found. We also offer financial aid to Foothills residents if their beloved pets are in need of Veterinary care.

Over the past years, we have successfully rehomed hundreds of cats and dogs. Unfortunately, we do not have a facility, so rescued cats and dogs remain in foster care until the appropriate home is found. Our foster homes are usually full, and we are in need for more. Volunteers are essential to our success, and we welcome offers of help to assist with foster homes and/or fundraising events.

We have been very fortunate that Diamond Valley Veterinary has been assisting us in the care of injured animals. The affordable spay/neuter program was started many years ago with Dr. Wayne Steiger and we are so very thankful that Dr. Lindsey Hein and Dr. Gregor Hein took the program over when they purchased the clinic. They have gone above and beyond in helping us to care for the animals in need. They have also homed lots of animals at the Diamond Valley Veterinary Clinic, if no foster home was available.

Donations for the High Country SPCA may be dropped off at Diamond Valley Vet, 117 Sunset Blvd E.

Would you be interested in adopting? Please check our Facebook page for profiles of animals currently in need of a loving home.

Thank you for the generosity of donations from the community, and the doctors and staff at Diamond Valley Veterinary Clinic and of course, our volunteers.
