Barry Crane — Mayor Candidate
Barry is an avid volunteer within his community and believes community is what you make it. If you aren’t positive in your actions and you’re not having fun, then you should ask yourself, what are you doing? Barry enjoys family life, coaching youth basketball, hiking, and lions club activities. He considers Diamond Valley home.
The top priorities this term are:
Supporting experienced leadership, helping bridge the services between municipalities together.
Fiscal responsibility.
Full transparency of council.
Affairs as we move through the first year of amalgamation. Now is the time to support experienced leadership across the council tables of BD and TV.
Barry wants to focus on planning the growth of our communities carefully and thoughtfully, supporting non-profit organizations and helping to establish a proper recreation committee to begin focus work on arts, culture and recreation needs for the next generation of citizens.
