Following is an update for active COVID-19 cases in the Okotoks area as of 4 p.m. on Feb. 17 according to Alberta government statistics.

There were a total of 277 new cases identified in the province over the past 24 hours bringing the total of active cases in Alberta to 4,857.
Currently, there are 370 patients hospitalized with COVID, 60 of whom are in ICU.
The province announced 152,056 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered as of Feb. 16. To date, 56,594 Albertans have been fully immunized with two doses.

A lessening of restrictions to allow limited services to personal services businesses, such as hair salons by appointment only, began on Jan. 18.
The premier introduced the step-by-step Path Forward for restrictions to ease as hospitalizations drop below a specific threshold.
Step one of the easing of restrictions, which has met the criteria of less than 600 hospitalizations, started on Feb. 8 with the easing of restrictions on dine-in at restaurants, cafes and pubs as well as on personal training. Click here for more information on the Path Forward.
