Young Okotoks resident helping Indigenous causes with tea stand

Nolan Asplund of Okotoks pours a glass of ice tea from his stand on Drake Landing Way. All of the proceeds will go to Indigenous causes in light of unmarked graves being found at former residential schools. Asplund is celebrating his 13th birthday on July 3 and rather than presents he is taking donations for Indigenous needs. He plans to operate the stand for a month. (Bruce Campbell/Western Wheel)
