The Turner Valley Bottle Depot is helping the youth in the area get an improved skate park.

The depot will close its doors at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23 for regular returns but it will continue to take bottles until 5 p.m. with all the proceeds going to the Black Diamond Skate Park.

"A lot of people will just be putting bags out for us, but we will be going door-to-door just in case people didn't get the memo," said Colin Fleming, co-ordinator for the upgrades to the park.

The Black Diamond Skate Park is located behind the Oilfields Regional Arena.
