A bee browses the Okotoks Community Garden. Okotoks, A Bee City, celebrates Pollinator Week with a variety of events.

This year, Okotoks officially became a Bee City, and with this comes a commitment to celebrate Pollinator Week, June 21 to 27 and recognize pollinators for the amazing work they do for the environment. Join the Town for free, educational, fun-filled online events and activities for all ages, including:

1.  • A week-long virtual pollinator scavenger hunt and be entered in a draw to win a pollinator-friendly prize.

Learn about bee-watching in the Beekeeping Gone Wild webinar on June 23.

• To help pollinators, pick up a free seed packet of native flowers from the Municipal Centre on June 25.

Check out the Town's social media pages for daily educational videos about the Town's commitment to maintaining pollinator-friendly habitats.
