Three country-style singers will perform, talk and share their expertise on Oct. 19 at the Elks Hall in Okotoks for a Foothills organization that is helping families.

Jake Mathews, Lyndsay Butler and Ryan Fritz are hosting Singers and Sweets for FASD, a songwriting round table and dessert auction with proceeds going to the Foothills Fetal Alcohol Society in the Foothills.

The Foothills Fetal Alcohol Society is a non-profit registered charity located in High River and serves south-central Alberta.

Its mission is to enhance capacity for the prevention of fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) and for the provision of care and support to rural communities.

Tickets are $25. Doors open and 6 p.m. with showtime at 7 p.m.
