Okotoks salon raises more than $1.2K for food bank

The Hair Studio presented a cheque to the food bank last week, after holding a raffle ahead of Easter.

Caroline Silver wanted to do some good ahead of Easter.

So, the owner of The Hair Studio on Okotoks' North Railway Street, decided she would put together a deluxe Easter basket to raffle off in aid of the Okotoks Food Bank.

Bundled together in the pink, purple and yellow basket were chocolates, wine and hair products - up for grabs with the purchase of a five-dollar raffle ticket.

On April 26, Silver and her team presented a cheque for $1,230 to the food bank.
