A reverse bottle drive is being held for Operation Underground Railroad Saturday, Aug. 8 at the Church of Latter-Day Saints at 300 Woodgate Road in Okotoks.

Operation Underground Railroad (OUR) is an organization which rescues children from sex trafficking.

In the past six years, OUR has rescued 3,800 victims and assisted in the arrest of more than 2,100 traffickers around the world, according to its website.

Due to COVID-19, organizers will not be going door-to-door as is done in traditional bottle drives.

Bottles can be dropped off at the church parking lot between 2 and 4 p.m. on Aug. 8.

Anyone wishing to have their bottles picked up can go to [email protected],
