Christopher STEVENSON, 37 of Calgary has been missing since August. Calgary Police Services are searching a rural property near Balzac in relation to his disappearance.

Calgary police searched a rural property located on Range Road 293 in Rocky View County near Balzac in relation to a tip on a missing person case.

According to a media release put out by CPS last week, officers were searching for information regarding the disappearance of Christopher STEVENSON, 37, of Calgary, who was last seen in August.

Investigators believed Christopher may have been a victim of foul play, and were led to the property in search of evidence related to his disappearance.

Investigators began searching the property on Saturday, Sept. 16, and the search was expected to continue into the Sept. 23 weekend.

On Friday, Sept. 15, officers executed a search warrant in the 600 block of Sixth Avenue S.E. in Calgary, and two people were taken into custody for questioning in relation to Christopher’s disappearance. Both individuals remained in custody due to unrelated matters as of press time.

As the investigation was ongoing, CPS advised no further details about the case would be made available, but promised an update on the search if anything was found.

Anyone with information on Christopher’s whereabouts, or who may have interacted with him prior to his disappearance, is asked to contact police at 403-266-1234.
