Photos, descriptions released of people who placed anti-2SLGBTQ+ material in school playgrounds

The material was left on the playgrounds at Joseph Demko and Murial Martin schools

ST ALBERT - St. Albert RCMP have released photos and descriptions of two individuals who were seen on security cameras leaving anti-2SLGBTQ+ material throughout the playgrounds of two local schools late last month.

“On June 25, 2023, at approximately 8:20 p.m. two individuals were seen on video surveillance placing (anti-2SLGBTQ+) material at Joseph Demko School playground in Jensen Lakes and then at approximately 8:35 p.m., the same two individuals were seen video surveillance at Muriel Martin School playground in Deer Ridge, placing (anti-2SLGBTQ+) material,” Mounties said in a July 6 news release.

“The individuals were seen leaving Joseph M. Demko School (in a) red Nissan Juke. St. Albert RCMP want to identify the two individuals and the owner of the SUV.”

The two individuals, one male and one female, are both described by RCMP as being white and in their fourties.

RCMP say the male suspect was wearing a black t-shirt with a logo, which is from the television series Yellowstone, camouflage shorts, and has blonde, shoulder-length hair.

The woman, RCMP say, was wearing a black dress, black hat, black sunglasses, and has “reddish” shoulder-length hair.
