Update: Amber alert lifted for seven-month old

Alberta RCMP have issued an Amber Alert for a seven-month-old boy. RCMP say Jameson Sundby was abducted from his home in Fairview at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Alberta RCMP have issued an Amber Alert for a seven-month-old boy.

RCMP say Jameson Sundby was abducted from his home in Fairview at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Sundby has blonde hair and blue eyes, and is wearing a blue t-shirt with a star on it and grey sweatpants with cars on them.

RCMP believe Sundby was abducted by his father, John Sundby, who is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 230 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.

They were last seen leaving a residence in Fairview, driving a 2012 black Dodge Ram 3500 with the Alberta licence plate CBF 3313.

The vehicle was last seen leaving Fairview in an unknown direction.

RCMP advise anyone who may encounter the suspect not to approach him and to contact the Fairview RCMP at 780-835-4031 with any information.

The alert was issued for northern and central Alberta, including the Edmonton area.
