Shallow utility work by Telus will impact two Okotoks streets this week.
The Town of Okotoks announced that Veterans Way, between Milligan Drive and Mountain Street, will see construction on Tuesday, May 7 from 10.am. to 10 p.m. and that the southbound lane on Veterans Way is closed for the day.
From Wednesday, May 8 to Friday, May 10, 32 Street between Milligan Drive and Chinook Arch Way will see alternate lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Planning an alternate route is encouraged. There will be flag persons on site at both locations and drivers should expect slow moving traffic and delays on Milligan Drive at the intersection of Veterans Way.
Commuters are encouraged to use caution in these areas, to watch for crews, signage and equipment.
